Optimal Health Physiotherapy is a well-established physiotherapist owned clinic located in downtown Peterborough. We are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team and provide physiotherapy expertise to our active motivated clientele. We book 60 minute assessments and 30 minute follow up treatments, and all treatments take place in private rooms. We offer manual therapy, shockwave, dry needling, acupuncture and exercise prescription. The clinic is located in century home and has shared reception and staff room with several allied health professionals (massage therapist, counsellors and a naturopath).
Job Summary/ Responsibilities:
As a full-time physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services including assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, executing treatment and implementing home programs. You will also keep accurate up-to-date records in our EMR, Jane app. You will, at times, communicate with other members of the health care team to advocate for your clients.
Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with a current active license with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with exercise prescription and return to sport is an asset
- Practice according to current best practices, and continually learn to keep up with new evidence.
